RAMIRA Energy performs independent inspections at different stages of rooftop solar PV projects, from project documentation and incoming material controls to mechanical and electrical installation inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
The inspection scope can be defined according to project specifications, approved drawings, manufacturer requirements and the inspection requirements established by the project owner.
1. Project and Documentation Review
Approved project drawings, technical specifications, manufacturer documentation, quality plans, installation manuals and other relevant technical documents are reviewed. Compliance of field applications with these documents is monitored throughout the inspection process.
2. Material and Equipment Inspection
PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, connectors and other electrical and mechanical equipment delivered to the project site are inspected for compliance with project requirements and technical specifications.
3. Rooftop Solar PV Mechanical Installation Inspection
Mounting structures, PV module positioning, fastening elements, clamp locations, tightening torques and compliance with manufacturer installation instructions are inspected.
Rooftop installation activities are monitored in terms of mechanical safety, installation quality and compliance with project requirements.
4. Rooftop Solar PV Electrical Installation Inspection
DC and AC cabling, cable routing, connector installations, inverter connections, electrical panels, grounding systems and other electrical applications are inspected.
5. PV Module Inspection
Transportation, storage and installation conditions of PV modules used in rooftop solar projects are inspected. Physical damage, installation non-conformities and applications that do not comply with manufacturer installation manuals are evaluated as part of field inspections.
6. Testing and Commissioning Inspection
Depending on the project scope, electrical tests, functional checks and commissioning activities are witnessed and inspected. Test results and related records are reviewed against applicable technical requirements.
7. Final Inspection and Punch List
Following completion of the rooftop solar PV installation, a final site inspection can be performed. Incomplete, defective or technically non-compliant works are identified and documented.
Identified non-conformities can be reported with technical descriptions, a punch list can be prepared, and closure of corrective actions can be monitored.
Independent Rooftop Solar PV Inspection on Behalf of Project Owners
